Orange Light Over Wrexham N.Wales?

Time: 9:00 p.m.

I finished my shift in Asda Wrexham tonight at 21:00 and was putting some shopping in my car when suddenly I saw a bright orange flame like ball flying at a steady and controlled pace overhead. This was witnessed by one of my work colleagues who had come outside for a break.

There was no sound, the sky was clear and it was not an aircraft as there were no NAV lights flashing. Also there are no flights over the UK at the moment due to the volcanic ash problem. It was not the police helicopter as that has a very distinctive sound and their search light is yellow. What was it ? It freaked me and my workmate out.
