Glowing Amber UFO Witnessed, Wichita, Kansas

On July 4 2010 at 11:30pm an oval object was witnessed by myself (Allen Hall) my girlfriend and another witness. It was first seen by myself as it cleared the trees of the neighborhood we were in. There was cloud cover as it had been raining previosly. The object was travelling under the clouds and was higher (500 to 600 ft up) than the fireworks being set off that night. As it got closer I pointed it out to my girlfriend. We both noticed that it was flying faster than a helicopter but not as fast as a plane. It appeared to be about 40 to 50 ft across in size .It was glowing with a steady amber/orange color. It made no noise. It was oval in shape and travelled across the sky in about three minutes. Before I could call to more friends to see it, it was out of sight over the nieghbors house. I felt that it was a true unknown craft, and I still feel that.I wish I had a camera at the time.
