Orange Ball Of Light Over Westcliff On Sea

Time: Between midnight and 2:00 a.m.

Hi, I saw an orange ball of light last night over southend-on-sea looking at it through binoculars I could see nothing. Do you know what this was? Between midnight and 2:00am and Over Westcliff-on-Sea travelling South. All the aircraft that comes over our house goes east to West and Visa versa.
