Unknown Object Seen Over Spring Texas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was behind my Pizza Hut store in Spring, Texas, taking out garbage and I looked straight up in the sky and saw at first what I thought to be a satellite. I was surprised as it was heading due south at enormous speed. I'm sure it was greater than orbital velocity. It had to be of great altitude as well, as the sun had set more than three hours earlier.

I thought it was strange to be heading straight south as well. When it was half way to the horizon from directly overhead, it arced to the east and continued the arc until it was heading almost west, maybe 250-260 degrees. The whole incident lasted 3-5 seconds and it was gone.
