Red/Orange Light Over Sainsburys

Time: Evening.

It was Sunday evening 18th April 2010. A red light, kept turning orange, was pretty noticeable. It was slowly moving towards us over Sainsburys Petrol station in Matlock. We pulled into the petrol station, got out the car and had a look. Then as we were looking it stopped, changed direction and quickly disappeared. This was like a fading out. This was not a plane as all planes are grounded from the volcano in Iceland. It was not a light aircraft, no sound at all. Thanks.
