Bright Orange Object Over Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

July 3, 2010 at about 9:34 pm Pittsburgh PA. We went to watch Brentwood Boro fireworks and as we were waiting for them to start, we noticed a bright orange object coming from the west going east. We thought it was an airplane or a helicopter. Aircraft do not have orange lights and there was no sound. The object moved slowly toward us and seemed to be at a helicopters altitude. We joked and said look at the UFO.

When it was above us, the orange light seemed to go out for a second, then come back on and it seemed to have some type of dark edges on each side of the orange light. It looked like a triangular wing as it floated real graceful over us. I'm sure others had to see this too.

The crazy part of this is that I have not mentioned this to anyone until my cousin stopped by yesterday after work and said somebody at his work said a friend emailed him and said his family saw thirteen of these orange objects that he filmed in Beaver County the same night. I do not know this person, but I'm trying to get my cousin to retrieve this video. Then my other friend on July 3, 2010 at Canadohta Lake, PA said she saw and orange light with no sound fly over the lake just before fire works at 9:15 pm. She was shocked when I told here what we seen.
