Thin Curved UFO Over Victoria British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in the passenger seat of my friends car when driving in downtown Victoria. I looked out over the inner harbor and in the sky in there was what I thought to be a flying V of geese in at a weird angle, but I kept looking and they weren't moving. It looked to be about a km away from me, but not too high up in the sky. I saw a few pedestrians pointing at it, but the majority of people were not looking. It was black and looked like it was in somewhat of a V shape. I saw it between buildings for a total of about 2 minutes. But after we parked and tried to look closer, it was gone. No clue what it was!
