Orange Triangle Glow Hovering Over Colchester, Illinois

Date: July 4, 2010
Time: Evening.

I heard the dogs barking and I went to look out the front door and all of them were lined up on the step barking at something off towards the west.I then I noticed this orange triangle glow hovering. It would faded out and then re-appear again. I saw it about a half a dozen times. I am located in West Central Illinois.
