Bright White & Reddish Orange Objects
Over Signal Hill, California

Hi Brian, we had a similar sighting as "Bright Orange Red Lights Over Long Beach California", but ours occurred on July 4th, 2010 at about 9:15 PM atop Signal Hill in the direction of Long Beach Harbor. When first noticed there were about 10 of them in two sets of triangular formations, which resembled helicopter flight. The formation slowly dispersed into a line that went from northwest to southeast and more kept appearing from the end of the line.

There were about 25-30 total and they ranged in color from bright white to reddish orange. Although they moved towards one direction they appeared to oscillate up and down while going their course. Upon reaching the southeast, they would in turn flicker and disappear. We initially thought they were just going behind the fog but realized they were gone completely!
